Table Saw Shields

This table saw shield is designed to enclose the portion of the saw above the table and enclose the portion of the saw above the material being cut. It is also designed so that the shield will automatically adjust itself to the thickness of and remain in contact with the material being cut—OSHA 1910.213 (c)(1).

The table saw shield assembly consists of a durable clear 3/16"-thick polycarbonate, a spreader, and anti-kickback pawls—OSHA 1910.213 (c)(2)(3). An extruded aluminum arm and steel mounting brackets support the assembly. The mounting brackets have slotted holes that provide adjustable mounting heights.

Our new DAF-100 Detect-A-Finger® drop-probe device is an adjustable stroke device that is used for safeguarding riveters, spot welders, eyeletters, stakers, staplers, crimpers, fastening and assembly machines, and screw machines. The DAF-100 Detect-A-Finger® drop-probe device is an electric-air system that can provide a stroke of up to 4". Bench Grinder Safety Gauge

Rockford Systems bench grinder safety gauge is just what you need to properly adjust the tongue and work rest openings on your bench grinders to be in compliance with OSHA standards. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.215 specifies that work rests must be kept adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of 1/8" to prevent the workpiece from being jammed between the wheel and the rest. OSHA also states that the distance between the grinding wheel and the adjustable tongue must never exceed 1/4".

Rockford Systems Sensing-Saf-Start® SAFS-300

This one-box SAFS-300 is designed for installation on 120-V (15-A maximum) machines. When installed correctly, the SAFS-300 will prevent the machine from automatically or unintentionally restarting when a power interruption occurs. The machine cannot restart until power has been restored, the machine has been turned off, and the reset button pushed.

The SAFS-300 is housed in a Nema 4 polycarbonate enclosure and includes a reset button and E-stop. The Saf-Start® complies with OSHA requirements, NFPA 79 electrical standard, and CSA standards.
