Rockford Systems Announces Schedule for Machine Safeguarding Seminars

The summer is an ideal time to improve your staff’s knowledge of machine safety. Yet with busy production schedules and employee vacations, finding the time to attend a multi-day, off-site class can be challenging. To help, Rockford Systems, LLC. has extended its highly recognized machine safeguarding seminar program into an online virtual format, led by the same highly experienced instructor and using an identical classroom curriculum as its in-person sessions. Online attendees receive all the benefits of face-to-face instruction — learning to interpret OSHA regulations, ANSI B11 series safety standards, and NFPA 79 in an immersive, structured way — while eliminating travel costs and time away from work.

Rockford Systems has scheduled the online seminars for the following dates:

Unlike the company’s two-day in-person seminars, the online classes are segmented into five two-and-a-half-hour sessions, scheduled one per day consecutively for a week. This convenient schedule allows professionals to learn advanced topics in machine safeguarding in daily “bite-sized” segments while allowing them to conduct their regular job responsibilities throughout the remainder of their day.

COMPREHENSIVE MACHINE SAFEGUARDING SEMINAR

Considered the most comprehensive educational program in the industry, Rockford Systems machine safeguarding seminars have been attended by thousands of professionals from aerospace, automotive, agriculture, consulting, government, insurance, manufacturing, metal fabrication, oil and gas, and many other sectors. Their primary focus is on interpreting performance language found in both OSHA 29 CRF and ANSI B-11 series standards, with specific situations discussed, such as basic risk reduction guidelines for a machine safeguarding audit of metalworking machines related to production requirements. Additional standards covered are ANSI/RIA R15.06 Safeguarding Industrial Robots, ASME B20.1, and NFPA 79. These seminars give attendees practical, actionable ideas to take with them and use to improve the safety of their operations.
The online classes are equally interactive and instructive, allowing participants to ask questions, share industry knowledge, provide feedback, and connect with peers in group discussions. Video demonstrations of multiple working machines will reinforce the training.
Online and in-person courses are led by Matthew Clutter, Rockford Systems Director of Training, an industrial safety expert with nearly two decades of machine safeguarding experience. Mr. Clutter is a regular speaker at seminars sponsored by industrial associations on safety and machine safeguarding.
Rockford Systems continues to offer in-person machine safeguarding seminars at its Rockford, Illinois, training center, as well.
In-person and online seminar dates for 2026 can be viewed on our Workplace & Machine Safety Training page. The cost to attend either an online or in-person seminar is $1,320 (USD). Claim your spot, and register for a Machine Safeguarding Seminar today.
