Two-Day,
In-Person Seminar

Overview

Ensuring the safety of operators and employees in the vicinity of machinery is a critical aspect of workplace safety. When a machine presents a potential hazard, it must be properly safeguarded according to stringent safety regulations and standards. Rockford Systems, LLC offers a comprehensive seminar designed to equip those in positions of responsibility with the knowledge and skills to safeguard machinery effectively.

This 2-day in-person seminar explores the intricacies of safeguarding the point of operation and other machine hazards, ensuring compliance with key safety standards such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) B11 series safety standards, and NFPA 79. Participants will learn how to interpret and apply these performance standards to real-world scenarios, with a focus on building effective safety program baselines and safeguarding common metalworking machines and other equipment.

The seminar includes a blend of classroom discussions, live demonstrations, and hands-on experience with machines under power. Visual aids, including slides and videos, are used to reinforce learning, allowing participants to gain practical insights into how to meet safety requirements for common machinery and production environments.

Whether you are a safety manager, engineer, or anyone responsible for machine safety, this seminar will provide you with the essential knowledge to protect your employees and ensure regulatory compliance.
