Harnessing the power of advanced technology to improve the safety of industrial machine operations, Rockford Systems, LLC today announced that “Compliant Safeguarding Solutions” will be the theme for its participation at the National Safety Council Congress & Expo (NSC) in the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, running from Sept 25-27, 2017. NSC is the safety industry’s premier annual event, bringing together 15,000 safety, health, and environmental professionals.
Rockford Systems will kick off its NSC presence with live demonstrations of OSHA/ANSI/NFPA 79-compliant machinery in its booth #3056 featuring lathes and drills under power, along with a presentation of interlocking shields and latching doors, laser scanners and light curtains. The demonstrations will showcase a path for manufacturers toward reducing workplace accidents, enhancing job efficiencies, and helping ensure manufacturers are in compliance with the latest OSHA, ANSI and NFPA 79 machine-guarding and lockout/tagout standards.
“Visitors to our NSC booth will have an opportunity to explore and demo safeguarding equipment with the potential to save lives,” said Vice President of Marketing for Rockford Systems, LLC. “The exhibit will include innovations in machine safeguarding that create new possibilities for productivity and value for customers.”
Visitors to Rockford Systems’ booth will receive a free OSHA Guard Opening Scale and Bench Grinder Safety Gauge, a value of $60. In addition they’ll score a free Selfie for Safety t-shirt by submitting a “selfie” of themselves standing next to one of the safeguarded machines in the booth.
